Ali Ahmed is a highly accomplished civil engineer with a diverse and extensive background in project management and construction. His career spans several years, during which he has demonstrated exceptional skills in overseeing complex projects across various sectors.

Currently serving as a Project Manager at Fatalibuilders since January 2023, Ali has been responsible for the renovation and upgrading of residential houses in prestigious Nairobi neighborhoods such as Runda, Karen, Kilimani, and Embakasi. Concurrently, he has been involved in the construction of new commercial branches and offices, including projects for Vogue dry cleaners.

Ali’s expertise extends to his role as Project Manager at BIGLITTLE SPACES, a position he has held since January 2020. In this capacity, he has overseen projects for notable clients such as Healthy U, Flair by Betty, Lorenzo, Golden Africa, Mama Fua, Gamma Paints, Transcentury, and Lavezi, among others. His responsibilities have included the construction of new branches, roads, offices, and residential houses.

Prior to his current roles, Ali gained valuable experience as a Site Civil Engineer and Project Manager at PINDORIA HOLDINGS LIMITED from 2015 to 2019. During this tenure, he managed significant projects such as the construction of the CHEMOQUIP Head Office in Kipande Road and the Deepa Industries factory in Limuru. His work involved complex tasks including the installation of steel roof bolts, water treatment plants, and the construction of various structural elements.

A highlight of Ali’s career was his involvement in the expansion of the Transmara Sugar Factory, where he served as both Project Manager and Civil Engineer. This project encompassed the construction and expansion of multiple facilities, including a go-down, weighbridge, molasses tank, and various other critical components of the sugar production process.

Ali’s professional journey also includes a brief but impactful stint with Egis in 2015, where he contributed to the design of new railway stations for the Kenya Railway Authority and served as a Civil Inspector for the construction of Nairobi’s missing links, a project aligned with Kenya Vision 2030.

Academically, Ali excelled at Eastern Mediterranean University, consistently maintaining a GPA above 3.0 and receiving recognition from the Head of Department for his outstanding performance. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, accredited by ABET, and is certified by the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) since February 2020.
