Amable Charles Kwaku is an accomplished electrical engineer with a diverse range of experience in electrical projects, from installation and maintenance to project management. Currently employed at Omni Group as an electrical engineer, he is involved in surveying, installation, maintenance, and project estimation for the VIT Project. His responsibilities include installing VIT sectionalizers and reclosers, connecting devices to HT feeders, overseeing maintenance, and providing quality assurance.
Prior to his current role, Amable worked as an electrical technician at Elecnor Ghana, where he contributed to the installation of the Pokuase Bulk Supply Point Substation. His duties included installing circuit breakers, transformers, and other critical components, as well as terminating various voltage cables. He also gained valuable experience during his national service at the Electricity Company of Ghana Limited, where he performed a wide range of tasks including transformer maintenance, line repairs, and customer service.
Amable’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, and he is currently pursuing a Master’s in Project Management. He has also obtained several professional certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP) training and certificates in Construction Management, Electrical Systems, and Industrial Automation.
Throughout his academic and professional career, Amable has demonstrated leadership skills, serving as a class representative and assistant prefect. His diverse skill set includes proficiency in computer-aided drafting, technical reporting, maintenance management, and various Microsoft Office applications. He is also adept at interpreting schematics and blueprints.
Amable’s professional memberships include the Ghana Institution of Engineering (GhIE) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He holds an Electrical Wiring Professional License from the Energy Commission of Ghana, further solidifying his expertise in the field.
