Brian’s educational background is impressive, having graduated from Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology in November 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, achieving Second Class Honours (Upper Division). This academic achievement was built upon his strong performance in secondary education at Kericho High School, where he attained an A- grade in his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education.

In his professional career, Brian has gained valuable experience in various aspects of the construction industry. Since March 2022, he has been working as a Data Collection Officer for the National Construction Authority. In this role, he is responsible for mapping construction sites in Narok County, registering and accrediting skilled workers and supervisors, and participating in training and sensitization programs. This position allows him to contribute to discussions and decisions affecting the construction industry.

Prior to his current role, Brian served as a Technical Trainer at Maasai Mara Technical and Vocational College from October 2021 to February 2022. Here, he taught in the Building and Civil Engineering Department, prepared practical lessons, evaluated students’ understanding, and participated in departmental meetings.
Brian’s hands-on experience in construction site management comes from his time as a Construction Site Supervisor at Martin Byrian Projects Ltd. from September 2020 to August 2021. In this capacity, he was responsible for quality assurance, inventory management, interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, and supervising and motivating employees.

Brian possesses a range of valuable skills, including proficiency in preparing Bills of Quantities, interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, and coordinating construction projects. He is adept at using software such as AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, MS Project, and MS Office packages. His ability to work within set specifications, deliver projects on time and within budget, coupled with his leadership skills and teamwork abilities, make him a valuable asset in the construction industry.
