Dr. Olorundare Raphael Adeyemi is a highly accomplished professional with over 34 years of experience in contract management, project management, and quantity surveying. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration degree and numerous professional certifications, including PMP, MRICS, QIA, and APAEWE.
Throughout his career, Dr. Adeyemi has demonstrated expertise across a diverse range of sectors, including renewable energy, building and infrastructure, oil and gas, power transmission, and water treatment. His experience spans multiple countries, including Nigeria, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, and Zambia.
As a Senior Consultant in Claims & Contracts, Dr. Adeyemi has been instrumental in managing multibillion-dollar projects, such as the 750MW Kafue Gorge Lower Hydropower Project in Zambia. His roles have included contract performance review, commercial contract administration, and claims management for cost and time extensions.
Dr. Adeyemi’s career highlights include serving as a Senior Claims and Commercial Manager for a $500 million Oil and Gas project, where he was responsible for ensuring timely completion within budget and favorable management of contractual claims. He has also held senior positions with prestigious companies such as Larsen & Toubro and Petroleum Development Oman, where he managed complex contracts and led teams in commercial and contractual matters.
His expertise extends to contract documentation, tendering, risk management, and project cost control. Dr. Adeyemi is skilled in preparing and defending contractual claims, variation orders, and final accounts. He has a strong track record in developing and implementing procurement strategies, contract management plans, and commercial management frameworks.
With his extensive experience and academic background, Dr. Adeyemi brings a wealth of knowledge in project and contract management, particularly in large-scale infrastructure and energy projects.
