Inderima Kenneth John is a highly skilled Technical Safety/Support Engineer based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. With a strong background in OSHA Occupational Safety/Health Management, Risk Management Plans, and Asset Integrity Management, he has extensive experience in environmental site investigations, including soil boring, groundwater monitoring, and data analysis. Currently serving as the Training and Program Coordinator at Safety Centre International Training Institute since August 2014, Iderima develops and implements instructional techniques to enhance trainees’ practical skills, administers assessments, and maintains comprehensive training records, while also forecasting the annual training budget and generating monthly reports for corporate management.
Prior to this role, Iderima worked at Shell Bonny Oil and Gas Terminal from March 2004 to February 2014, where he held various positions, including Occupational Safety/Health Site Compliance Engineer and Operations Liaison Coordinator. In these roles, he interpreted HSE laws, ensured compliance with corporate HSSE requirements, provided project support, coordinated HAZOPS and risk studies, and managed self-verification activities to ensure safe project delivery. His core competencies include expert knowledge of HSE compliance and management systems, supervising audit activities, validating permits, and managing construction projects related to oil and gas and water production facilities.
Iderima holds a Master of Science in Environmental Management from the University of Stirling, Scotland, and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Nigeria. He has also obtained certifications from the National Examination Board on Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) and various other relevant training programs.
