Kingsley Ogbodo is a highly skilled structural civil engineer with over 8 years of extensive field experience. His expertise spans various construction projects, including estate development, office complexes, warehouses, manufacturing shops, link roads, and hospitals. Kingsley’s professional journey showcases a progressive career path, having served in key roles such as Lead Project Engineer, Project Engineer, Site Engineer, and Highway Engineer.
As a Lead Project Engineer at Development Africa, Kingsley has been responsible for supervising all civil works on site, creating structural drawings, and leading both technical teams and skilled/unskilled manpower. His recent accomplishments include completing an eye hospital complex and overseeing the construction of sixteen residential flats for medical personnel, for which he also handled the structural designs.
During his tenure as Project Engineer at Opemanus Resources Ltd, Kingsley supervised the construction of a substantial 1200 sqm warehouse and a 3500 sqm manufacturing shop from foundation to completion. His responsibilities included preparing work programs, progress reporting, and managing material requisitions according to Bill of Quantities specifications.
At IJUNT CONSTRUZION NIG LTD, Kingsley oversaw the entire civil work process for an office complex, from setting out to completion.
As a Site Engineer for Clobek Nig Ltd, Kingsley supervised the construction of 27 building units, including two-floor mansionettes and duplexes. He also managed the estate’s road network development and handled various administrative tasks.
Kingsley’s experience extends to highway engineering, demonstrated during his time at Torex, where he jointly supervised a 4-kilometer ring road project with drainage systems on both sides.
Academically, Kingsley holds an HND in Civil Engineering Technology from The Federal Polytechnic Bida, Niger State, which he completed with distinction in 2016. He has further enhanced his professional standing by obtaining certification from the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) in June 2023.
Kingsley’s skill set is comprehensive, encompassing quantity estimation, structural design and modeling, setting out, and various site-related work. He is proficient in both manual analysis and software-based designing, utilizing tools such as Prota, Orion, and AutoCAD.
In addition to his technical expertise, Kingsley has completed a career path program with GIZ, a German cooperation in Abuja, further broadening his professional perspective.
