Mr. Sibusiso Mpapane is a seasoned professional with over 14 years of extensive experience in the construction, welding applications, and automation sectors. He began his career at Element Six (PTY) Ltd, where he focused on synthetic diamond research, honing his technical skills and understanding of advanced materials. His journey continued at Welding Alloys, where he played a pivotal role in developing hard facing and cladding products, while also providing training to clients in the mining and steel industries, ensuring they maximized the benefits of these innovations.
Mr. Mpapane further advanced his expertise at Lincoln Electric, where he received comprehensive training in welding applications. His role involved servicing clients across Southern Africa, which allowed him to build a robust network and deepen his knowledge of regional industry needs. Subsequently, he joined Steval Engineering, where he managed significant welding projects, including the construction of the largest LPG spheres in the southern hemisphere, showcasing his ability to lead complex operations and deliver exceptional results. One of his highlights at Steval Engineering was to lead the team that built the first and biggest two LPG spheres in the southern hemisphere, using an automatized flux core process and achieving a 0.5% failure rate, on 100% x-rays, in just 6 months.
