Victor Uzezie John is a COREN-certified civil engineer with over five years of experience in the construction industry. Victor holds a B.Eng. (Hons) in Civil Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, graduating with a CGPA of 3.63/5.00 in February 2017. His studies focused on highway bridges and culverts, structural analysis, traffic and transportation engineering, reinforced concrete design, prestressed concrete design, geotechnics/foundation engineering, and strength of materials. Victor’s academic journey also includes completing his SSCE at National Foundation Academy, Ughelli, Delta State (2005-2010), and his FLSC at Ultimate Group of
Schools, Ilesa, Osun State (2004).
Throughout his career, Victor has developed a robust skill set, including building design, site inspection, reinforced and prestressed concrete design, structural inspection, pavement engineering, and technical report writing. He is proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Orion, and Protastructure software. Victor’s personal skills include time management, teamwork, problem-solving, and self-motivation.
Currently, Victor serves as a Site Engineer at Karakas Development and Properties Limited in Maitama, Abuja (March 2023 – present). His responsibilities include planning and executing scheduled works, supervising workers to ensure compliance with methods, quality, and safety standards, and preparing various reports on work progress.
Victor’s academic achievements include winning the Agbami Scholarship in 2013 and securing third place at the state level in the Cowbell Mathematics Competition (JC) in 2009. He is fluent in English and Yoruba and enjoys planning, strategizing, internet surfing, reading, listening to music, watching news, and traveling.
